A Global Alternative Asset Management Company is looking for an exceptional candidate to work in a fast-paced data analysis and visualisation role within their London based BI team.Client DetailsVisualisation Developer - Financial ServicesThe organisation is a well known and growing Global Alternative Asset Management CompanyDescriptionVisualisation Developer - Financial ServicesThis role requires diverse skills and will suit a person who is adaptable and willing to learn new technical skills as well as become a business domain expert in short order. The team works very closely with our business users, there are no BAs / PMs / Testers in the mix, so it is a great opportunity for someone to come in and learn a lot about the business.The business users are also extremely engaged and supportive of development projects, they are highly intelligent and can often code themselves.Projects are delivered end to end by individuals - from inception and design with the end users, to development, testing, deployment and post deployment support. This accelerates project delivery and minimises communication issues.From a technical point of view, the organisation work in a mixture of SQL Server, Analysis Services (primarily in Tabular mode), with PowerBI and Reporting Services for the traditional MIS and BI reporting, with C# and VueJS for custom data analysis workflow, as well as working in D3js for both PowerBI custom visuals and pure custom visuals.The BI team has also built a full CD/CI environment for the BI tooling, with full automated test suites to enable rapid prototyping, development and deployment processes with low failure rates. This toolset has been built with Powershell, TeamCity and Octopus deploy, and this role will use this heavily as well be expected to extend and enhance it from time to time.This role will suit either a pure-play and full stack BI developer who has had some exposure to writing code (in C# or similar, and JavaScript) or scripting (in Powershell or other languages such as Python), or alternatively a C#/JavaScript developer with good SQL skills who wants to move into the data analysis world.ProfileVisualisation Developer - Financial ServicesRequired skills:
