VFX / Animation Tutor at Escape Studios, Pearson College LondonEscape Studios are seeking an experienced Game Artist to teach courses to Undergraduate, Postgraduate students and from time-to-time professionals from diverse industries.The RoleThe VFX / Animation tutor is part of a team responsible for the development and delivery of theVFX programs to our Undergraduate and MA students. You will be comfortable teaching the foundations of VFX which helps students understand VFX / Animation and establishing good practice in all aspects of your discipline at a much higher level depending onthe class being taught.We prefer artists who have worked on successful professional projects. You need to be a good communicator and confident with public speaking.You need to be capable of explaining complex artistic and technical principles, able to create learning materials, comfortable with both face-to-face and online teaching. Ideally, we want you to have prior teaching experience and a degree or MA, did we saywe want you to be amazing artists, yes, we want Unicorns.We are looking for tutors who have a range of skills in working on high-level animation / VFX projects and understand the latest pipelines. Someone who is comfortable talking about art in general and understands technical limitations of the medium beingdiscussed.You will be comfortable briefing students on industry-based projects and guiding them as individuals or in groups, providing formative feedback as well as summative reviews.
