Job Description

Job Title: Vehicle Telematics Installation Engineer (Night Shift)Location: LondonContract Type: 12-Month Rolling ContractWorking Hours: 4 on 4 off (Night Shift)Hourly Rate: Circa £30 per hour (Ltd), Outside of IR35About Us:A leading provider of cutting-edge telematics solutions for the transportation industry. We specialize in installing advanced technology on buses and coaches to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and overall performance.Role Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Vehicle Telematics Installation Engineers to join our team on a contract basis in London. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in installing and maintaining telematics equipment, with a focuson timespace devices, CCTV DVRs, display units, and related components.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations of telematics equipment on buses and coaches during night shifts.
  • Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of installed systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of telematics solutions.
  • Provide on-site support and resolve technical issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience in installing timespace equipment on buses or coaches.
  • Familiarity with CCTV DVRs, display units, and related telematics components.
  • Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts on a 4 on 4 off schedule.
