Job Description

GLBA is the Coverage and Investment Banking division of SGCIB. It offers a global advisory approach focused on strategic dialogue with clients. GLBA offers clients the whole range of services offered by SG GBIS and the Group, with a particular focus oninvestment and commercial banking activities. GLBA provides tailor-made solutions to corporate, financial institutions, the public sector and family offices. The mission of the Business Management Office (BMO) is to support the strategy, the development and the transformation of GLBA while maintaining a sound and safe framework to conduct GLBA activities. The V.I.E. mission will include:

  • Assist GLBA UK BMO (and ultimately GLBA DIR) in all matters related to the UK GLBA activities
  • Help with coordination and preparation of internal presentations for management
  • Support implementation of transversal initiatives for the UK platform
  • Conduct performance analysis and benchmarking
  • Assist UK management in the analysis monitoring and review of performance as well as monitoring of key topics and costs
  • Day to day collaboration with the GLBA wider teams and the units supporting them
Profile requiredPLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.   • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Management/Finance
  • A previous experience in banking would be appreciated
Language skills:
  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good analytical and modelling skills
  • Knowledge of financial markets, accounting and banking
The VIE assignment in a nutshell This VIE in UK is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months. In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business Frances eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
