Job Title: UX Researcher / AuthoringClient Location: London - Remote (UK)Starting: March 2021Salary/Pay Rate: £ day rate = to£110,000paHours: Full-timeDuration: 12 month contract (potential to extend)We’re looking for a talented researcher to join our Spark AR Research team to provide insights that will help scale the platform, and help the creators who build on Spark to achieve their ambitions. That research will range from foundational studies to inform what we build and how we build it, through to tactical studies to steer product development and drive quality.We believe Augmented Reality will create a seamless combined virtual and real world, enabling people to be present, connected, and richly engaged with people, places and objects they care about.The Spark team is building towards that future by enabling a global community of creators and developers to imagine, create and share augmented reality experiences that reach the billions of people using the family of apps and devices.We do this through Spark AR Studio, our flagship creation software suite, and Spark AR Hub, a powerful tool for publishing, managing and tracking the performance of AR experiences across the family of apps.As a research team, we see our role as advocating for users, and arming our product teams with the insights and inspiration they need to build with confidence.Skills:We are looking for a qualitative or mixed method generalist, with broad skills in design research methods, and a good understanding of basic quantitative methods (e.g. surveys).
