  • To act as a key point of contact within the firm for the client, together with the Partner. This will involve responding quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the serviceprovided, and maintaining regular contact with clients
  • Signing out tax Forms 1065 and 1120, 5471, 8865, 8858.
  • Check the box /entity classification advisory
  • Review of work prepared by more junior members of staff
  • To ensure assignments are completed within agreed budgets and keep client/Partner /Principle informed of overruns and plan staff assignments in order to give an appropriate spread of experience
  • Identify risk and technical matters, as well as selling opportunities, to the Partner/Principle/ Senior Manager, whilst exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
  • Must be able to recognise business development opportunities and inform and work with the Partner and the client to develop these when they arise

  • With a fundamental understanding of either the corporate or investment management sectors; clients are typically either multinational companies or funds that invest on behalf of their investor populations.
  • US Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed attorney or Enrolled Agent (EA) partial or complete qualification
  • With a sound US tax background to complement the existing team with strong US technical skills and experience of handling a client base
  • Reviewing tax Forms 1065, 1120, 1120-F, 5471, 8865, 8858
  • Ability to analyse CFCs, Subpart F income, GILTI along with the double taxation mitigation options; and the potential election planning that can be done to mitigate these factors
  • Familiarity with PFIC identification and planning options
