The role The Senior Performance Analystshould be recognised as the key contact for underwriting control and guidance across Hiscox UK. The Senior Performance Analyst is responsible for ensuring adherence to external and internal regulatory and compliance protocols. The focus of this role is co-ordinatinga high level of adherence to underwriting standards ensuring a consistent approach across the business. The role also includes ensuring the governance and control of the underwriting function and monitoring of key performance indicators, to help deliver HiscoxUK strategies and support business decisions. People and relationships are fundamental to this role. The Senior Performance Analyst is expected to work with the Underwriting Pricing and Product (UPP) team whilst also building and maintaining strong relationshipswith RUMs and underwriters to ensure adherence to underwriting standards. What youll be doing: Youll be recognised as a key contact to all underwriting teams in respect of underwriting controls Youll be accountable for ensuring pricing policies, UnderwriterAuthority Letters (UALs) and peer reviews are fit for purpose and meet the Group Underwriting Controls Policy and Lloyds Minimum Standards You will proactively manage and provide oversight of weekly / monthly peer review process You will manage the IndependentReview (Technical Underwriting Reviews) programme for Hiscox UK ensuring all reporting deadlines are met Youll be responsible for driving sound automated governance processes in Merlin Youll provide key performance indicators and metrics that provide clearinformation to inform the decision making and business planning processes Act as an escalation point for underwriting related issues identified in the Independent Reviews (Technical Underwriting Reviews).
