TV PRODUCTION LAWYER5+ YEARS PQE (UNSCRIPTED)EXCITING INDIECENTRAL LONDON Our client is an exciting and fast-growing Indie. It is making some of the most innovative and multi-genre television, film and music content, thanks to a pre-eminent team of writers, producers, directors and talent. The Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TV Production lawyer to join the Legal & Business Affairs team. You will work closely with each of the Company’s production and development divisions (e.g., Formats, Unscripted and Documentaries), as well as the Company’s support functions (e.g., Finance and HR). Reporting to the GC and Head of BA, you will both take the lead and support the GC on the structuring, drafting and negotiation of key commercial and rights deals and agreements (including broadcaster/streamer/network commissioning/licensing agreements, distributionagreements, talent agreements, co-production agreements etc.).You will also assist the GC in managing the Company’s corporate transactions, M&A/investment activity and advising on dispute resolution, IP protection and rights analysis.About you:You will be a well-trained lawyer from either private practice or in-house with a minimum of 5 years PQE. You will have experience in an unscripted television business or a business where IP and the development of talent relationships are key.This role has real potential for growth and the company has big ambitions. You will work closely with creatives and key stakeholders in a positive and highly collaborative business.
