The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) is a charity whose mission is to share learning and support innovation across all areas of healthcare. We are a leading provider of continual learning for healthcare professionals and a membership organisation. We are now looking to appoint a new Council member (Trustee) with significant digital experience who can help shape and lead our digital strategy to ensure the best learning experience for healthcare professionals and an engaging and efficient organisation for members, staff and partners. The RSM is uniquely placed to support the sharing of learning and experience across different branches of medicine and across all healthcare professions. The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of this and the need to be able to provide continual learning for all healthcare professionals whether in person or online. With a new strategy being developed and significant momentum behind online learning, this is an opportunity at a key time to influence how the RSM develops its digital capability. HOW TO APPLY To apply, please send a CV and covering letter explaining why you are interested in the role and how you meet the relevant criteria to Joanna Rose via email by 12 noon on Monday 8 February 2021. Shortlisted candidates will be notified in the week commencing 15 February 2021 and be invited to a meeting with Ms Michele Acton, Chief Executive, ahead of a Panel Interview on Thursday 25 February 2021. Both of these will take place via videoconference. If you would like further information, please contact Ms Michele Acton at For a role description and person specification, please go to our website via the button below.
