We are inviting applications for Treasury Officer Based in city london . This is a Contract Position start immediately for our Banking client. Must have UK Banking Experience.Essential knowledge, skills and experience requirement * Previous experience in the banking/Finance sector * Strong academic background * In-depth knowledge of MS Excel (especially PIVOT, Vlookup tables) * Ability to communicate concisely and efficiently and manage conflicting demands appropriately Desirable knowledge, skills and experience requirement * A degree in Finance * Experience in Treasury Department. Responsibilities may include: * Exchange Rate / Card Rate / Reval Rate / LIBOR maintenance on Finacle and website, including communications to branches and Voice recording of rates * Daily CCY position, Inflow and outflow of funds for the day and next day * Various reports generation / preparation in Treasury Dept. and placing them before authorities * Deal slip preparation and related activities on FT / Backoffice * Monitoring of Nostro statements and maintenance of cash position and tallying with dealer * Weekly reports preparation of Simplified Maturity and Capital Charge * Monthly preparation of MTM statements * Any other work assigned from time to time * Fundamental Analaysis of the treasury portfolio for upward submission to the ED and MD with recommendations * Maintenance and supervision of Securities, their book keeping, Monitoring of initial behaviour of discount, premium in the Finacle for a new security, Daily updating the securities quote excel file, Weekly MTM of securities under AFS for stop loss monitoring,Monthly balancing of securities, Monthly preparation of Income amortization calculation for FCCB securities in HTM. * Morning checking of long book * Any other work assigned from time to time by the Senior Manager/Chief Manager under the capacity of Officer
