A swiftly expanding real estate investment fund are seeking a fund controller/transactions on-boarding accountant on a contract basis to assist with setting up the accounting and operational processes associated with the acquisition of large portfolios of real estate assets into investment funds.This is an exciting, fast paced and entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will support the Transactions Director to understand the financial, legal and operational mechanics of newly acquired portfolios. Tasks will include chairing large meetings between the business and vendor, taking minutes to meetings, updating trackers and charts, gaining knowledge of data room and completion accounts, preparing presentations, working with IT, Legal and Finance to transfer knowledge and facilitate smooth onboarding of assets.It is the perfect role for a real estate fund accountant who no longer wants to be tied to monthly/quarterly reporting and would prefer a role where they are project managing and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders day to day.Requirements;- Qualified Chartered Accountant or similar- Real Estate investment fund accounting/fund controller experience- Knowledge of Yardi system would be very useful- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills- Confident and outgoing personality with great communication skills*Our client is open to hiring someone on a temporary to permanent basis as there is a longer term need for this position.Pay £350-£400pd or £60,000-£70,000 depending on experienceDuration: 3 month contract or Temp to Permanent Required skills
