As part of our team, youll help us provide both corporate and financial buyers with peace of mind by analysing and validating all the financial,commercial, operational and strategic assumptions being made.Our national Transaction Services team supports a wide variety of transactions in the UK and internationally. We advise both top and mid-tier, corporate and financial (private equity) clients, whoinvest in a range of assets, from smaller privately owned business to large household names. Whilst a significant proportion of our work is UK based, we also support our clients internationally, working alongside our network firms in Europe and globally.OurFDD team members are industry aligned and have deep experience and knowledge across the following industries Financial Services;Industrial Products and Services;Technology, Media & Telecoms;Healthcare & Pharma;Retail, Consumer & Leisure;Energy, Utilities,Mining & Infrastructure; andReal EstateOur FDD team is supported by Valuations, SPA, Data & Analytics and Financial modelling specialists, bringing technical expertise to complement our wider Deals offering.About the roleThe role will involve the followingManagingteams through the analysis of financial and non-financial business information;Identifying and understanding key drivers of a business and potential deal breakers (financial and non-financial);Writing and reviewing financial due diligence (buy-side, sell-sideor refinancing) reports for our corporate, banking and private equity clients;Sharing your experience and developing other team members through the deal processUnderstanding the processes in due diligence work including dealing with risk management processesand proceduresInteracting with senior levels of Management, and exposure to business owners to understand areas such as historical and projected business performance, wider commercial issues, etcDeveloping internal and external networks, and adopting a businessdevelopment mindsetTravel may be required, which is dependent upon the client/ targets location Essential Skills & ExperienceACA/ICAS qualified (or equivalent)Experience in a Deals environment is essential, Financial Due Diligence experience is preferableGoodbusiness writing and Excel skills (eg report writing)Good analytical skills and commercial awarenessA flexible working styleInterpersonal skills (lead teams, mentoring and developing staff, confident interacting with clients and management)Excellent communicationskills (questioning and listening skills)Desirable skillsExperience with Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau and other data analytics and visualisation toolsPassionate about client serviceAble to adapt to changeProject manage assignmentsProactive with regard to self-developmentWiderange of client experienceLeaders of the future - willingness to lead is a positiveWe would welcome applications from candidates who have Deals experience within one of the following: Corporate Finance, Business Restructuring or ForensicsWho were lookingforYou will be a motivated and proactive individual, with the commercial awareness, investigative mind and flair for detail that underpin sound advice.
