Job Description

This role as a Transaction Monitoring Analyst involves conducting comprehensive research and detailed analysis of suspicious transactions across the compliance department in a payments firm. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out transactionmonitoring and effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulations.Client DetailsOur client is a prominent player in the global payments, specialising in offering innovative financial solutions.   • Assist and ensure compliance is being adhered to with transaction monitoring, KYC, AML policy and procedures
  • Reporting to and communicating with the Head of Monitoring and MLRO to ensure the Financial Crime team operates effectively
  • Ensure transaction alerts are cleared or escalated appropriately
  • Act as a point of escalation for clients for on boarding and KYC
  • Quality control - Sample testing of client transactions to ensure adherence to policy
  • Assist in refining and developing the transaction monitoring process
  • Advising and supporting other transaction monitoring analysts
  • Assist with the training of staff within the company in AML matters
ProfileA successful Transaction Monitoring Analyst should have:
  • Experience and knowledge of payments/FX and financial services regulations with exposure to transaction monitoring
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using advanced analysis tools
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
