This is a an organisation where you can make a real difference and will have a chance to thrive in a busy but vital role where everyday is different. We are looking for a keen problem solver who can respond to complex queries whilst showing empathy and diplomacy when dealing with anxious trainees.This charity is focused on doctors who work on all aspects of medicines research and development. This team works closely with the Board of Trustees and over 1,600 members to improve the health of the public around the world.What will you be responsible forThe Specialty Training Coordinator role is an opportunity for someone who thrives on a challenge, who is happiest when putting their excellent organisational and customer facing skills through their paces. Someone who is at their best working collaborativelywith others.This Training Programme is a cornerstone of the charities commitment to producing physicians who are equipped with the specialist knowledge and capabilities to practise to the highest ethical and professional standards. You will play a vital part in successfuldelivery of the programme, and in the revalidation of medical trainees.We are looking for an individual with highly developed skills in administration, communication and collaborative working. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a regulatory environment where diligence and attention to detail are musts, andwill be keen to make a positive contribution in all aspects of programme delivery. Specific tasks include: supporting the registration of new trainees; administering the monthly competencies reviews, completions and/or withdrawals for trainees; and maintainingaccurate records for all aspects of the programme. An understanding of the requirements for specialty training is not essential but would be a definite plus.The successful applicant will join the team initially on a 12-month contract which could be made permanent.Our client offers a fantastic benefits package, including flexible working, 29 days annual leave, and Christmas closure days. A pension is offered after 3 months. The role is offered subject to successful completion of the 6-month probation period.
