The role would involve learning about various funds such as private equity and real estate as well as giving you the chance to complete professional accountancy qualifications. You will ideally have some experience within fund pricing/valuations or operationsfor at least 12 months The individual will be given a lot of support from senior management and gain exposure to different areas within the business. However, they want to hire someone driven, flexible, and willing to learn. Some of the duties of the TraineeFund Finance Analyst: Preparation of management accounts for special purpose vehicles and closed ended fund clients Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS for special purpose companies and closed ended fund clientsLiaising with auditors Preparation of UK VAT and CIS returns Assist in the review of NAV calculations that are prepared offshore Experience of, or willing to learn, FCA regulated reporting (e.g. AIFMD, COREP, FSA001/002) Background of the Trainee Fund FinanceAnalyst: Experience within fund pricing/valuations or wider fund operations Willingness to study towards a professional accountancy qualification
