Trade support and settlements analyst

Responsibilities

Pre-confirming trades with counterparties across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, international securities, and collective investments.
Ensuring accurate booking of all trades into the order management system, including the correct Settlement Standing Instructions (SSIs).
Conducting Crest checking, foreign checking, and UTM checking on internal systems to verify trade details.
Reviewing daily trade files received from custodians to ensure all trades are matched and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
Investigating and resolving any failed trades, non-receipts, and interest claims.
Maintaining regular communication with counterparties and custodians to ensure timely completion and settlement of trades.
Following up with Unit Trust Managers to obtain outstanding contract notes.
Utilizing EMX & Calastone STP systems to generate contract notes for placed trades.
Managing the booking of US platform trades.
Amending trades as necessary to rectify errors or updates.
Processing depot moves when required for trade settlements.
Handling FX bookings and resolving FX queries as needed.
