Job Description

Trade Support Analyst – Banking Operations We are seeking a talented Trade Support Analyst to join a dynamic team within a prestigious bank in the heart of London. As a Trade Support Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the bank’s key stakeholders and ensuring the smoothexecution of trades across various business units. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a deep understanding of financial markets and derivatives, you would be well-suited to the position.The role-holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborate across a range of banking departments, working closely with the Treasury Department, Treasury Operations, Execution Distribution & Limit Control Middle Office, Loans Administration, and Front Office teams to provide exceptional trade supportservices.
  • Will be expected to utilise your previous experience in trade input and trade support within a buy or sell side firm to effectively handle trade-related tasks
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of derivative products and financial markets, including IRS, CCS, CAPS/FLOORS, CDS, and Futures, to ensure accurate and efficient trade processing
  • Stay up to date with EMIR, IBOR discontinuation, and other pertinent regulations applicable to derivatives markets to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Apply industry best practices to enhance existing processes, identify efficiencies, and implement changes that optimize trade support operations.
  • Showcase your excellent influencing and negotiation skills to foster effective collaboration and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively at all levels, utilizing your strong written and verbal communication skills to provide timely updates and address any trade-related issues
  • Leverage your advanced Excel skills to manipulate financial data and generate reports that contribute to informed decision-making
  • Bring your self-motivation, energy, flexibility, and collaborative mindset to contribute to a positive team environment and drive success
