Venn Group are currently looking for a Trade Settlements Specialist to join a global bank in Canary Wharf on an initial 6-month-rolling basis, with scope for extensions.The main responsibilities of this role include daily processing of derivative trades, such as FX options, Interest Rate Swaps and Currency Swaps, on a daily basis. The role-holder will also be responsible for ensuring that trades adhere to regulatory obligationsand local procedures throughout the EMEA region. Additionally, they will provide support to the wider Derivative Operations team, assisting with both ad hoc and scheduled duties pertaining to trade confirmations and SWIFT messaging.For candidates to be successful, it is essential that they come from a Financial Services background with demonstrable experience working in a Trade Settlements/Processing capacity, have a deep understanding of derivative products, such Cross-currency Swaps,Inflation Swaps, FX/MM options, and communicate at a high level with stakeholders up to senior management level.Candidates must have knowledge of various SWIFT payment formats as well as timely generation and completion of long form and ISDA trade confirmations, ensuring they are sent and countersigned by external customers whilst working to routine deadlines.This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a highly reputable financial services organisation, where they will be working within a collaborative team that offers sustained career growth and development whilst contributing to thebroader objectives held across the banks Operations Department.Candidates with the above experience are invited to apply to this advert; please submit your CV into this advert and a member of Venn Groups Financial Services team will be in contact.
