Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Determine the scope of changes required to existing processes and controls and framework for execution
  • Engagement with stakeholders to update or put in place process maps for impacts of TIM implementation
  • Ensure all documentation for processes and controls impacted by TIM implementation complies with the standards in place for Finance
  • Ensure outputs align with the Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) of the respective Finance Executive Team member represented
  • Required skills:
  • Experience of business analysis role documenting processes (AS IS and TO BE)
  • Experience of working with senior accountants, actuaries and Finance Operations team, take instructions, ask right questions and drive the process documentation
  • Experience of utilising process libraries and customise as per business requirements
  • Experience of developing strong working relationships and coordinating activities across finance and wider business areas
  • Experience of dealing with complexity on large scale implementations
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to process and present information in a structured format to meet demanding timescales, and present in a clear unambiguous way
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, experience of specialist MI tools are a bonus
  • Asset Management or life Insurance Experience
  • Experience of Collective Investment Schemes Preferred
  • Experience of Tax Transparent Funds preferred
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP, Solvency II and IFRS is desirable
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislative frameworks
  • Required skills
