Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Testing Supervisor to lead a team of AsymptomaticTesters for a local University. We can considerpart time hours/days to suit.The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:MUST have abackground/experience in clinical or medical health, or lab management

  • Experience in Clinical Trials
  • Knowledge of Virology and/or Immunology
  • PHDin Bio Sciences
  • Laboratory or similar experience
  • Team Leader skills
  • Testing SupervisorMain duties:The Testing Supervisor will be accountable for ensuring testing is conducted in a manner compliant with the SOPKey responsibilities Requirements
  • Supervise the end-to-end testing process and assure that it is compliant with the SOP and with appropriate regulations
  • Reviewing test staff planning including rota, cross coverage and leave plans
  • Review service delivery plans relating to sample analysis, results recording and reporting
  • Establish and maintain a quality management system for the testing site
  • Accountable for site quality governance including incident reporting, assessments, and risk mitigation
  • Support Site Manager to ensure that health and safety guidance is appropriately followed
  • Review compliance with all infection control and clinical waste disposal procedures
  • Work with Site Manager to ensure that stock levels are adequately maintained
  • MUST have abackground/experience in clinical or medical health, or lab management
  • Must have good communication and management skills
  • Ideally experience in virology, infectious diseases, clinical audits, quality management systems, training and development of SOPs
  • Hours Monday to Friday 9-5.30Temporary only
