Job Description

Test Manger - Integrations:

  • Remote first (client based in London).
  • 12 Month FTC.
  • Circa £55k+ (highly negotiable) + excellent package.
    • Company & Project overview for Test Manger - Integrations experience:Our client is a specialist, global, information company that helps the world’s most ambitious businesses win in the digital economy. We’re currently helping them to find a Test Manager with integrations projects experience. This will be 12 month FTC which is likely to be extended for much longer.They are going through two ambitious and exciting re-platforming programmes to move their core brands from dedicated Salesforce org’s to a single instance, while its underpinning ERP solution is also being migrated to a cloud service.Role and responsibility overview for Test Manger - Integrations experience:As the Test Manager for iPaaS you’ll work closely with your workstream programme and project manager to set out detailed test plans required by the 10+ integrations of the programme.Following the programmes critical path you will ensure all individual test plans are aligned to delivery plans and are managed and executed to the required standards.You will work closely with the Enterprise Technical Architect, his team, the project manager and a junior PM, along with selected SI Partners to ensure each integration undertakes a full end to end test plan.As part of your role you will work with the Data Migration Project manager and Data architect to ensure any data synchronisation needs of integration developments and rollouts are understood and tested in line with the wider iPaaS test plans and Salesforce workstream UAT’s..Key accountabilities for Test Manger - Integrations experience:
  • Plan and execute test plans for our Priority integrations, in line with current programme plan milestones.
  • Take responsibility for end to end tests of integrations, coordinating the test efforts of Source and Destination platforms, as well as the iPaaS platform itself, to ensure true end to end testing is successfully delivered.
  • Document planning requirements, of the end to end tests for each integration, ensuring both source and destination test plans align to your iPaaS end to end test deliverables.
  • Working with Project Managers, BA’s, Test Managers, Technical Architects, Developers and Data Architects manage the end to end delivery of integrations.
  • Support QA and test efforts of iPaaS, Source and Destination development team QA’s and BA’s assigned to other programme workstreams.
  • Support the Salesforce Test Manager in integrating iPaaS testing to their Salesforce functional UAT plans.
  • Support business users responsible for signing off integration test results.
    • Skills & Experience for Test Manager - Integrations experience:Essential:
  • Experience in delivering large scale Salesforce and ERP transformation projects is
  • Experience in integrating ERP and E-commerce platforms to Salesforce, where Salesforce operates as full end to end Sales Order Processing systems.
  • Demonstrable knowledge on managing multiple small scale integrations concurrently.
  • Hands on experience working with Salesforce is essential.
  • Experience working with test automation tools and management tools such as AccelQ, JIRA, Confluence.
    • Desirable:
  • Understanding SAP and subscriber model e-commerce integrations is desirable.
  • Experience working with iPaaS models, such as SnapLogic is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with salesforce - subscription based websites is highly desirable.
  • Any recognised QA qualification is beneficial, but will be outweighed by hands on experience of using an end to end test approach to Salesforce integration.
