Role title: Test ManagerStart date: ASAPContract length/end date: 6 monthsAssignment Rates: £750 per day via Umbrella CompanyLocation: London - 1 day per week (Hybrid)An opportunity exists within a large financial services organisation for a Quality Assurance - Manager as part of a new capability within RDP Content Platform Technology. This is a newly formed organisation of circa 450 team members that sits as part ofthe larger Content Transformation Team of circa 1000 people.Our goal is to build out the Technology team operating from our strategic site in Bucharest providing experienced and dynamic team members to support multiple roles across our portfolio of global projects. This is a very exciting time to get involved, tohelp develop and shape new technology and drive change throughout the organisation.This role will lead testing capability of Blue-chip programme in Content Platform Technology and work closely with local and wider teams globally.Key responsibilities:

• Define and implement the full end-to-end testing strategy for the programmes. Focus on end to end quality, test environment, automation, performance, test data management, testing tools and UAT improvement.
• Ensure compliance of corporate testing standards and divisional testing strategy
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to all testing teams in the programme
• Establish quality process and set standards in testing reports, quality gates
• Establish quality metrics dashboard and KPI (defects, test execution, automation etc) to evaluate quality risk and conduct continuous improvement
• Set Defect Management Process
• Set clear automation goal and roadmap. Drive automation implementation.
• Collaborate with Solution Architect, BA for the Non-functional requirements and set the performance testing plan
• Set Test Environment strategy and test data management plan
• Executive reporting for the test deliverables and test risk management
• Conduct quality or maturity level assessment where needed, e.g. project quality assessment, automation maturity assessment, etc
• Communicate with product / project stakeholders for test deliverables and status update
• Responsible for staffing as needed
• Coach Quality Leads (scrum and E2E), and support them in critical quality issues

About you:

• Proven record of successfully delivering programme level testing capability
• Proven ability to drive and implement programme test strategies , including automation, performance, E2E integration, test environment, across large teams and organisations
• Extensive experience in multi-vendor and senior business and technology stakeholder management
• Excellent understanding of QA methodologies and experience of agile testing
• Solid understanding and experience of software development/testing, automation testing, performance testing, test data, test environment and security
• Proven record to set the quality measurement model and drive continuous quality improvement from end to end
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail or other test management tool
• Good business acumen and result driven
• Capable of communicating with senior technical leaders
• Knowledge of financial services is a plus
• Experience of helping companies to drive testing excellence will be a plus

Experience required:

• 10+ years in software development or testing management
• Excellent understanding of SDLC/STLC, CICD, Git (source code repository), Jenkins.
• Good understanding of automation testing framework: Pytest, TestNG, Junit, Robot, Selenium.
• Familiar with performance testing framework: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, etc.
• Cloud (AWS, Azure or other public cloud) testing experience is preferred
