Job Description

Test Lead - Retail - 12 month FTC - £60k - £75k or possibly contract rate Were looking for an experienced Test Lead to work with a leading Retailer embarking on a large digital transformation and experience of working on a large ecommerce transformation within the Retail sector is essential.You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Test Analysts whilst also undertaking a hands-on testing role. You will undertake strategic analysis to deliver a coherent and comprehensive test approach that will underpin and provide the foundation to enable test planning and execution to be completed throughout the entire Testing lifecycle.You will have a strong sense of ownership regarding delivery of quality outcomes and will ensure that your team is able to analyse, plan and execute test activities to ensure all functional and non-functional requirements across the Programme are tested thoroughly (iterative development/test), across all phases of testing (system, integration, end-to-end, performance).You will have a proven track record of managing test teams working on digital platform deliveries along with:

  • Solid experience of having delivered test services as part of an ecommerce delivery programme within an ecommerce function
  • Experience of mentoring and leading Test Analysts in a complex delivery model
  • A proven track record of analysing, planning, scripting and executing tests across the various phases of the software delivery lifecycle
  • Experience of delivering testing services using agile methodologies with solid Retail ecommerce experience
  • Experience of Supply Chain and Order Management solutions desirable
  • Strong experience in writing SQL statements for the purpose of data analysis
  • Experience of working with ERP, CRM, Integration, PIM, and BI products eg MS Dynamics AX 2012, MS SQL, BigCommerce, Bloomreach, Hybris and Mulesoft.
    • It goes without saying that youll be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work proficiently and accurately in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Youll be able to work well under pressure, to tight deadlines but always maintaining a commitment to delivering quality outcomes. Youll possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrable ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ideally this is a 12 month FTC but they may consider a 6 month contract paying £450 - £500 a day.This is an urgent role with interviews to be arranged next week and an ideal start date of Jan 4th so please email your cv ASAP.
