You will carry out testing and quality assurance validation across the product range (STB, VOD, Streaming, Internet TV) & youll cover both evolution of current products and new product developments. As a Test Engineer, your main role will be to define, maintain and execute test scripts, recording detailed results and reporting. You will also enjoy working in small, dedicated Test team of 3 & comfortable in an Agile / Scrum product Engineering environment. They are proud of the teams record & would like someone who is equally satisfied with a job well done.Key tasks include: Test script creation/maintenance, estimation and execution for set-top box projects using the application, including: Script execution and maintenance of a compliance test suite, Integration and Functional test case creation and execution.Testing new configurations and new components of the platform, using Set-Top boxes and DVB monitoring tools.One of your main responsibilities will be to work with the platform engineering team to test and validate their work producing APIs and back end services, we are therefore looking for a particularly technical person who will be comfortable with this.Outside of your API & backend services testing you will carry out functional and regression testing of other other products & projects which will include their website and mobile application.Main skills & expertise we are looking for & you should have most of these to be considered:- Technically literate, with a background in software or hardware testing.- Creating test cases from functional, technical specifications and product requirements- Testing / working with APIs and testing backend services- Experience using tools, such as Jira & Test Rail- Experience in an Agile / Scrum product development team & wider department collaboration.Handy, but not going to rule you out:- Experience in testing native mobile and web applications- Desirable to have at least 3 years working experience in digital TV or related industryPlease pop me over your CV to be considered!Keywords: Test Analyst, Test Engineer, API Tester, Software Tester, Agile, STB, VOD, Digital TV, IPTV, London, Remote.
