Using expert knowledge of the platform, help drive continued engagement and value for our business and customers.Mainresponsibilities and accountabilities Act as the Tessitura system expert at the RA; providing technical knowledge of, and ownership for, this crucial system within the RA. Support RA business owners and Tessitura super-users to ensure optimal performance acrossTicketing, Membership, Fundraising, Finance, Marketing, TNEW (website) and Wordfly (ESP), Customer Service, Reporting and Analytics. Design and continually refine (as needed) Tessitura data architecture (such as campaigns and appeals, membership organisationsetc) to ensure best outcomes for all of the above business areas. Be a key member of the RAs Tessitura Management Group (TMG), helping to align RA super-users across the business on best future development priorities (continual cost-benefit optimisations).Oversee core Tessitura processes such as duplicates management; GDPR and data security compliance; direct debit and gift aid claims (etc.) working with colleagues across the business to ensure exceptional data quality and compliance. Work with the Head ofDigital Product and Infrastructure to manage the RAs Tessitura development roadmap, proactively proposing areas for improvement in line with new functionality. Ensure alignment between the Tessitura and TNEW product road maps and other RA-wide data / systemimprovements and developments. In partnership with the RA Senior Project Manager and RA business owners, lead on small and large system upgrades, ensuring they are completed successfully (on time and without adverse impact to business as usual). Develop testing,deployment and capacity plans as required. Lead on Tessitura integrations (with third party suppliers), back-ups and ongoing security and user access management in partnership with IT, the RAs Technical Lead and Senior Product and Project Managers. Partnerwith the Technical Lead and Senior Product Manager on the development and testing of new TNEW functionality, ensuring its successful integration with Tessitura. Support the Marketing team with Wordfly integrations; automations and optimisations. TroubleshootTessitura issues (raised by RA super-users and senior stakeholders) and escalate where required. Act as the lead RA contact with Tessitura and facilitate discussions between RA business owners (including IT) and Tessitura where necessary. Create and maintainTessitura technical documentation as required. Partner with RA teams and super users to lead training and upskilling across the business. Champion Tessitura within the RA and represent the RA within the wider Tessitura community, building productive relationshipsand continuously learning from the Tessitura Network and peer organisations.Person specificationJob related knowledge / skills Excellent knowledge of Tessitura database administration and operations preferred, including TNEW / Wordfly integrations; complexmembership structures; advanced ticketing set-up; Tessitura Analytics; Gift Aid and Direct Debit processing. (Note: We will consider applicants who have the necessary skills and experience in other similar systems, and demonstrate a keen interest in becomingthe RAs Tessitura super user and an ability to learn new systems quickly). Advanced database administration skills, including SSRS, SQL & script-writing. Experience of successfully managing Tessitura (or similar) system upgrades in complex environments withmultiple stakeholders. Technically skilled and able to troubleshoot issues with Tessitura, TNEW, Wordfly and other related areas, in partnership with IT, and the RAs Technical Lead.Required behaviours Ability to tackle complex business / data challenges withconsidered solutions that work together across all RA business areas, understanding where compromises may need to be made and helping solve with the best possible decisions (cost-benefit). Proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving. Enthusiasm forhelping and supporting colleagues to find new opportunities and improve processes. Always looking for ways to do things better. Clear communication skills, able to help stakeholders at all levels to understand impact of data-related decision making.
