Job Description

We are recruiting for a temporary HR Advisor for an exciting charity that works with the major cities worldwide to confront climate crisis , they are looking for someone to support across the different functions of HR , someone who is happy to be hands onwith adminstration support too . This role will be remotely based but you can eventually work a few days in the office if preferred .The RoleTo be the main point of contact for coordinating data and information in reference to staff.To be responsible for designing and implementing all HR related surveys.To analyse HR data and make appropriate recommendations from the information retrieved.To be able to report clearly and concisely on evidence from HR data and information.To provide support to the Snr HR Manager and Director of Organisational Development and HR on specific HR initiatives and projectsTo design, create and implement suitable tools to collate evidence and data for all HR ProjectsTo provide general administrative support for all change initiatives and projects.Undertake recruitment administration where necessary (across multiple timezones in the Global North and Global South) for assigned departmentsincluding placing adverts, liaising with applicants, arranging interview schedules and sending employment letters as appropriate.Assist with and evaluate new and existing roles to ensure positions are graded at the right level; provide guidance to managers and employees onthe job evaluation methodology and advise on the process.Support the HR Manager in recording recruitment campaigns, ensuring reasonable timescales for recruitment activities are adhered to.Advise and guide managers on steps for an effective recruitment process and implementing the EDI strategy in the recruitment processReview and periodically update HR policies and procedures to ensure they are compliant with organisational practice, best practice and legislationDevelop and document, under direction of the Head of HR, new policies as requiredKeep track of all policies, versions and advice where policies need updatingRespond to routine queries and requests from line managers/employees on employment mattersThe CandidateExperienced HR Advisor The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and administration skills with the HR functionStrong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.Good numeracy/literacy skills.Ability to communicate effectively and, when required, confidentially with persons at all levels.Ability to work pro-actively to achieve efficiency and effectiveness as part of a team.Ability to work in a fast moving and pressurised environmentIMPORTANT NOTEOur aim is to respond to all successful applications within 5 days.
