Telecom Engineer Location: London (Hybrid)Package: £Negotiable + BenefitsWere changing how we operate with a move to more inhouse and onshore operations, as part of this new project were looking for a Telecoms Engineer to join the team to assist in the development and deployment of our new infrastructure. Youll be key in:* Managing with the day to day administration, operations, maintenance and provisioning of the group telecommunications infrastructure* Communicating Telecoms solutions clearly and efficiently with the business.* Building key relationships with operational teams both within the UK and US, across DevOps, GRP Businesses and the Service Desk teams* Analysing business requirements and translating these into telecoms solutions* Troubleshoot and interrogate enrolment, configuration and deployment issues* Assess existing telecoms solutions to identify improvements, cost savings and simplification opportunities* Ensure documentation is up to date / generated for technical standards, policies and procedures* Work with partner teams to maximise system uptime* Leading the coordination, deployment and fulfilment of MS Teams and Ring Central installations including onboarding of new entities and day to day management of existing services* Integrating existing solutions into the new infrastructure and consult on development projectsThe Rewards:A highly competitive basic salary, coupled with all the normal benefits (Pension, DIS, PMI - Post probation, Holidays)An evolving and proactive environment where everyone is pulling in the same direction The opportunity to join at the outset of a major project and be involved in the development, role out and ultimately the BAU of it over the next 12 months. About you:* Youll have strong hands-on knowledge and the associated experience of designing, deploying and enhancing telecoms solutions.* Able to competently support and manage Telecoms Networks, performance tuning and policies* Demonstratable knowledge of Ring Central and MS Teams and the associated Architecture/Engineering as a Subject Matter Expert* High level exposure to enterprise scale telecoms deployments and the ability to manage the accompanying partners across networks, suppliers and IT to maximise availability* Youll also be able to analyse usage patterns and build capacity to handle peak / off peak usage and produce capacity planning reports (including dial patterns.* Your wider skill set should include strong technical, collaboration, communication and troubleshooting skillsAbout us:The GRP Group (Now part of Brown & Brown Inc.) aims to be one of the UKs leading insurance intermediaries delivering the best outcomes to clients, insurers and our people.
