Job Description

Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a prestigious accounting professional services organisation that has a global reach with the recruitment of a Technology Policy Manager.This position will collaborate with the Head of Technology Policy and other departments to accomplish the organisations strategic goals, which include mastering data and technology and assisting in the transformation of commerce and the economy.The roles goal is to contribute to the creation, commissioning, management, and delivery of thought leadership, policy, and guidance on technological concerns and how they affect the work of Accountants, business, and society.Some of the duties will include:

  • Assist the Head of Tech Policy in developing informative and persuasive responses to official inquiries and requests for information on issues pertaining to tech policy, such as government, select committee, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Responsible for delivery of tech content in policy, thought leadership, and other channels, working closely with other departments of the organisation, particularly the Data Analytics and Technology teams.
  • Conduct research and analysis on emerging technological trends in business and the economy, including as blockchain, cyber security, and artificial intelligence, and help create and commission top-notch content for the benefit of the general public.
  • Create and maintain networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders to aid in the creation and dissemination of pertinent technical content.
  • Assist the Head of Tech Policy in maintaining and administering pertinent message boards and forums.
