Job Description

Technical Sales Manager - Fixing Systems Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer - Lifting & Fixing SystemsIndustry Sector: Lifting Systems, Fixing Systems, Anchoring Systems, Brickwork Support, Restraint Systems, Precast Concrete, Faade, Glass Facades Fixings, Sub-Contractors, Main Contractors, Faade Contractor, Brickwork Contractors, Design Engineers, Consultants,Curtain Walling, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineers, Structural EngineersArea to be covered: South East Remuneration: £40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) + circa 20% bonus Benefits: circa £300 car allowance however negotiable and comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Lifting & Fixing Systems will involve:

  • Technical ales position selling a high quality range of lifting and fixing systems used within a wide range of applications such as: brickwork facades, glass facades, stone facades, concrete frame, natural stone and precast concrete
  • Majority of your time will be spent selling to sub-contractors who work from the management contactors for example: glass faade contractors, stone faade contractors, curtain walling contractors, brickwork contractors and concrete frame contractors
  • The remaining portion of your time will be spent influencing / dealing with consultants engineers, civil engineers, structural engineers, design engineers and tier 1 contractors such as Morgan Sindall and Bam Nuttall
  • Will be targeting to bring in around £1m turnover once up and running
  • Dealing with order values ranging from £20k - £600k on multimillion pound projects normally North of £20m+
  • A typical project would be a 30 storey high rise glass residential building
  • Will be provided with hot leads from the internal team and Glenigans
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager - Lifting & Fixing Systems with:
  • Must have a technical related product ideally fixings, anchoring systems, restraint systems, precast concrete systems, glass faade fixings, brickwork cladding, brickwork fixing systems
  • Would consider an engineer or consultant with no sales experience but in depth product / system knowledge
  • Ideally have an civil or structural engineering degree or related qualifications (would consider a graduate looking to make a step up into sales)
  • Ideally have experience dealing with glass faade contractors, stone faade contractors, brickwork contractors and concrete frame contractors
  • Ideally have site experience
  • Genuine get up and go work ethic
  • Results orientated and outgoing
