Ourstrategic ambitions extend not just to scale but also the breadth and depth of our product and our aim is to be as efficient as possible in solving a consumer problem that touches everyones lives.Were looking for Technical Product Manager as hire numberthree to join our existing product team [Michelle](https://in/michelledemott/) and [Kosta](https://in/askito/).***Whats the job*As our third product hire we are looking for someone to own and deliver scalable systems for our business operations. 2022 isset to be our biggest year of growth yet and were continuing to iterate on our technical stack to ensure great experiences for our customers. We have some immature processes and systems that you need to get on top of, redefine, and optimise. You would beresponsible for:* Leading product discovery phaseshosting workshops to understand the real challenges and define what needs to be solved and why. Proficiency in process improvement is a must to allow you to understand bottlenecks and define the to-be vision.*Ensuring our internal stakeholders needs are always at the heart of what were building. Working with our team directly, prioritising and setting realistic timelines. Nothing will ever get past you without thinking of the Bother ecosystem.* Supporting theengineering teams in trade-off decisions between conflicting dynamics, e.g. tech debt vs speed to value, building tech vs buying off the shelf.* When we work with a third party you will be responsible for clearly defining the requirements, contract negotiation,implementation and sign off.* You will build the foundations needed for a great relationship with our developers - a clear and concise backlog. You will make sure that when we commit to building something, we can do it efficiently. You will lead all core activitiessuch as backlog refinement, grooming and technical specification.***What are we looking for** You are relentless in getting to the heart of the problem trying to be solved, focusing on outcomes and not solutions.* Youve been working in Product for 4+ years- with a technical PM focus.* Youve had exposure to the end to end eCommerce process. You understand the technical ecosystem and can work independently on improving our experience at any stage from stock management through to fulfilment.* A secret geek atheart knowing enough about APIs and Web Services to follow technical talk and make sure the right conversations happen.* Experience delivering software solutions to business process challenges. You know when to buy off the shelf and when to build in house.*Experience managing software vendors. Youre not bamboozled by technical talk and you can rally external terms while maintaining a no-blame culture.* You care deeply about making life better for your colleagues.
