JOB AD:My client is looking to recruit a Technical Presales / Project Manager to support our Public Safety LTE (PS-LTE) device sales and service development. The candidate will primarily support their flagship UK Home Office PSLTE project (ESN) but also contribute to building business critical (BC) and mission critical (MC) business in Western European territories.The ideal candidate should demonstrate knowledge of mobile B2B, security, enterprise IT and mobility environments, have the ability to manage complex projects, and communicate clearly and proactively to colleagues, customers and partners at all levels. Knowledge of LMR/TETRA/PSLTE and Networks would be an additional advantage.Key Responsibilities:- Technical support and expertise for the delivery of Public Safety LTE projects, primarily UK ESN- Work closely with sales and public safety customers, mobile network operators, and public safety solution ecosystem to advocate and communicate product and solution portfolio and strategy- Understand customer, operator and ecosystem solution requirements, and provide requirements to the product and solution development teams- Work closely with the product and solution development teams to ensure alignment between customer/market requirements and our solutionsQualifications:- Demonstrable experience in enterprise mobility, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent in computer science / networking. BS/BA degree highly desirable.- Minimum 3 years experience of mobile enterprise solutions- Working knowledge of wireless communication network infrastructure of major UK mobile operators is a plusProfile:- Motivated team player, strong people relationship skills with the ability to lead collaboration across functions and organizations.- Strong communication/presentation skills, ability to deal with business leaders on all levels- Customer focused; results orientedSkills and QualificationsEssential Skills:Youll have a demonstrable passion for devices and their usability, with the following skills or strong experience in:- Android OS/ android device management using enterprise tools (WorkSpaceONE, InTune etc)- A good understanding of device connectivity (VPNs, APNs)- Experience in project management and Product lifecycles- Able to communicate complex ideas, plans and technical details to colleagues and partners- Managing and delivering complex technologies within time, cost and quality targets- Dissecting a problem into its component parts to identify and diagnose root causes, allowing problem resolutionHighly Desirable Skills:- Knowledge of relevant standards e.g. 3GPP, LMR- Good understanding of MVNO business processes including SIMs and device- Knowledge of wireless technologies such as LTE- Project management- Understanding of Public Safety, users, applications and solutions
