Job Description

Technical LeadInside IR35Hybrid 2-3 Days (London or Sheffield) Dependent on you locationAn exciting opportunitys available for an experienced Technical Lead to work within Tier 1 banking organisation. The Technical Lead will work with the Technology team, Scrum Master and Platform Owner to drive improvements in productivity through backlogmanagement, maturity in the use of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean), and corresponding management of dependencies.Help to drive improvements in agile software delivery, production support processes and continuous DevOps pipelines development and ensure that all Technology practices, security and architecture controls and associated tools are adhered to within the Pod.The Lead will also have responsibility for the development of people within the team as an integral part of the continuous improvement of the pod including individual and collective performance management.Detailed day to day activities:• Managing technical delivery from global teams based in China, India and UK• Coordination with Delivery leads across multiple workstreams in planning and delivery of Sprints• Low level design• Data modelling• Code reviews• Sprint Planning• Plan and review release implementation• Create JIRA technical tasks from stories ,sprint planning and sprint refinement• Troubleshooting production issues with Open Banking Live applications• Impact analysis of agreed change requests• Support Architecture team in designing solutions and presentation to TDA• Stakeholder management (Product Owners, Delivery leads, OBSS Leadership)Technical• AWS- Kinesis, Redshift, Glue, Lambda• Python• SQL• Terraform• Jenkins• GithubNon-technical• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Prioritization of multiple deliveries within regulatory deadlines• Unblocking issues for Dev and QA Team members as they arise• Ability to multitaskSkills:
