Job Description

TECHNICAL DELIVERY LEAD£550-£650 PER DAY6 MONTH CONTRACTREMOTE/CENTRAL LONDONThis position as a Technical Delivery Lead allows you to operate within a financial consultancy based in central London. The company specialises in Data & Analytics for various financial service companies. You will be working B2C, within a large Insurance institute. The Technical Delivery Lead will be overseeing data extraction from Actuarial models and creating self-service dashboards from this in Tableau. As a Technical Delivery Lead, you will have the opportunity to enhance your CV and gain experience working within a dynamic forward-thinking business.THE COMPANYThis Dynamic consultancy has already achieved great success in a very short space of time within the UK. They have built up an exceptional clientele list and work with globally recognised retail banks and insurance brokers, meaning you will gain experience operating within them, via B2C co-option. Their increased demand in recent years has meant they now require a strong bench of Data & Analytic professionals who can represent their company to a high standard.THE ROLEThe Technical Delivery Lead will be responsible for overseeing the project of forming data correctly from the Actuarial models. As a Technical Delivery Lead the role will involve overseeing the following project:

  • Extracting data from these models using ETL extracts and ensuring data is correctly formatted for further processing within the project.
  • Understanding where data needs to be stored in order to carry out further data processing
  • Overseeing Data Engineers who will develop dimensional models to process the data and create reporting.
  • Developing self-service dashboards in Tableau
  • Getting hands-on when necessary and having a technical understanding of what the Data Engineers are doing.
    • YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:As a Technical Delivery Lead you will be required to have the following experience:
  • Commercial experience operating in a Head of or Lead position within a similar project.
  • Commercial experience using Wherescape Red and Wherescape 3D as a data warehouse automation tool.
  • Technical background to understand back-end ETL development and data mart development.
  • Also having commercial experience with Tableau is required.
  • Insurance experience is a necessity.
