Job Description

They provide products in an environment that considers theappropriate needs of their clients while offering guidance and expertise to ensure their employees understand the business and uphold the highest levels of conduct.Job Purpose We are seeking a talented and experienced E-Trading/Murex Trade Integration Technical Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing a trade capture interface (FIX protocol) between our e-commerce Smart Trade platformand our books and records system, Murex. You will work closely (pair programming) with our Murex developer(s) and other cross-functional teams to define, implement, test, and troubleshoot issues, spec out enhancements, and optimise the performance of the platform.The ideal candidate should have a strong background in e-commerce systems, strong business knowledge of FX and PM trade capture, a track record of working with Murex interfaces, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently ina fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities

  • The BA works as part of the delivery team to facilitate clear and open communication between business stakeholders, developers and the product owner.
  • Gathers business requirements and documents the requirements to a standard that can be understood by the wider project team and organization.
  • Consult with the business and product owners to prioritise and shape the product backlog, using Agile practices for prioritization around business value.
  • Work closely with the technical developers in Change The Bank (CTB) to ensure the requirements are interpreted correctly.
  • Ensure ownership of CTB streams as required and is accountable for delivering these streams on time, expected quality and deliverables.
  • Work closely with Business and IT developers and bridge the gap by taking business requirements and converting it to IT requirements.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure the project does not run into obstacles at the latter stages of the delivery.

  • Successful transfer of product requirements to system architects, vendors and developers within a team.
  • Implement standardised analysis methodologies and techniques across operations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional area(s) for the assigned Scrum team
Technical skills
  • Murex
  • FIX interface (especially building trade capture interfaces)
