Job Description

Role: Technical Business Analyst / TesterLocation: West London - Hybrid (1 / 2 days in office)Salary: £40,000 - £50,000The One Group are pleased to be partnering with a reputable business in West London that develop leading supply chain management and sustainability solutions to enable and enhance businesses accurate and timely supply chain data.Due to continued success, and growth they are now looking to add an experienced Technical Business Analyst to the team.   • Requirements Analysis
  • Liaise with clients and internal customers to map processes, gather requirements and assist the PMs in defining and scoping projects.
  • Provide estimation for the cost/effort of system changes or development.
  • Documentation
  • Create and maintain the following:
    • Functional Design Documents
    • User interface design
    • Data Dictionaries
    • Integration Specifications
    • Process Flows
    • Current to Future Log/ Analysis
    • Cut-over plans
  • Create and maintain test plans and test scripts.
  • Provide support to developers during complete project delivery journey by; creating user stories,
  • contributing to backlog refinement, providing feedback on test execution (identifying issues and
  • potential resolutions).
  • Liaise with clients and internal customers to help with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
About You: Essential
  • Solid experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a strong focus on data analysis,
  • testing, and integration.
  • Experience working in Logistics, Retail or Supply Chains (particularly with IT systems).
  • Demonstrable ability to understand data changes and their impacts on downstream systems.
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to comfortably communicate with both technical and
  • non-technical individuals at all levels.
  • Strong expertise in creating and maintaining complex data dictionaries with multiple systems
  • and definitions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of producing high-quality reports/documents.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum,
  • Waterfall.
  • The ability to produce specifications for business and technical audiences.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office / VISIO.
Desirable
  • SQL programming language with experience using MSSQL
  • Working with structured data (XML, JSON) and flat file formats (CSV)
  • Data modelling skills, including relational database design and strong SQL skills
  • Proven experience in providing testing support and ensuring clear requirements traceability
  • throughout the testing process
  • ISTQB Certified Tester certification (Foundation Level or Higher)
