Job Description

Technical Account ManagerLondon (hybrid-working)£40,000 - £60,000 + benefitsOne of the leading Financial Lines insurance teams in the City, is looking for an Account Manager to support the experienced Brokers from a technical perspective.The team deals with a variety of Financial Lines business, both wholesale and retail, including Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions, Directors and Officers and Cyber. The Technical Account Managers bridge the gap between the Technicians and the Brokersand are a key cog in the machine. Varied duties include:

  • Producing MRCs and Endorsements
  • Ensuring documentation has the right clauses and taxes for the jurisdiction
  • Liaising with clients, Brokers and Insurers
  • Monitoring renewals and helping the Brokers deliver them on time
  • Inputting and updating policies
  • Using PPL to bind orders and endorsements
  • Managing in-house schemes and ensuring bordereaux are up to date
Enthusiastic individuals with experience in document/slip generation would be ideal for this role, with the ability to understand a London Market MRC. Desirable:
  • Experience with Financial Lines business
  • Insurance qualifications
  • Data entry experience
  • Reconciliation experience
  • Great Excel skills
  • Attention to detail
