Job Description

Team LeaderOur client is a highly respected independent charity, working across England and Wales to develop and deliver a range of innovative services. They provide practical and emotional support to prisoners children and families, to prisoners andthose who have resettled back into the community. They are committed to achievinghigh standards of quality in all that they do.Position: Team LeaderLocation: HMP BrixtonContract type: PermanentHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Evening & Weekend Work may be required occasionally)Salary: £28,000 per annumClosing date for applications:18th November, 2021Interview date: TBCAbout the Role:To deliver essential family services as part of the innovative Route2Change pilot family service at HMP Brixton. Adopting a "whole family" approach", this comprehensive service will deliver an end to endintegrated rehabilitation and resettlement support programme to prisoners and their children and families from first night in custody to six months following release from prison.About you:This post will manage a small team of staff, prisoner Pact Championsand volunteer befrienders involved in the delivery of prisoner assessment, the development of Family Care Plans, prisoner and family support, and casework in prison and in the community.
