Job Description

Lockton Re Non-Marine Retrocession and Property Specialty Team are looking for a Team Personal Assistant to help support their brokers.You will be part of a fast -moving dynamic team based in the City of London.Although experience within the Insurance/ Reinsurance industry would be beneficial, its not essential for the role, providing you have worked in a similar type of corporate, professional services business.Lockton ReLockton Re is the global reinsurance business of Lockton Companies. It helps businesses understand, mitigate, and capitalize on risk with nearly 200 colleagues in 12 locations globally. The business is continuing to grow, pushing the reinsurance industryforward with smarter solutions that leverage new technologiesdelivered by people empowered to do whats right for clients.Key responsibilities:

  • Extensive diary management
  • Organising complex events and conferences
  • Arranging complex domestic and overseas travel including providing full itineraries
  • Arranging client and market meetings in the UK and Overseas
  • Extensive expense management
  • Act as key point of contact for the team for internal/external queries
You will be:
  • Effectively planning and organising your workload in order to meet business demands/timescales.
  • Utilising Lockton Re core systems to effectively manage the companys business.
  • Self-motivating in order to achieve desired results with regard to team(s), division, company and annual personal objectives.
  • Developing internal / external relationships, communicating at all levels.
  • Contributing to effective working relationships with other business unit PAs, overseas offices, HQ management and external clients
  • Desiring to develop from the PA role to an EA role in future
Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with transferable skills
  • Highly Organised, proactive, and energetic
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise
  • Strong IT skills , particularly Office, Word, Excel, Webex, Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • A professional manner, remain calm under pressure and understand the nature of the Reinsurance broking industry and the role that Lockton Re plays.
The right individual will be proactive, energetic, upbeat and efficient with experience in a similar administrative assistant role. You will have strong IT skills: particularly Microsoft Office and Outlook, Webex, and Teams.
