About usUCL Department of Chemical Engineering is one of the top research and teaching departments in the UK and has world-class standing. The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and has an extensive research portfolio across a wealth ofareas, and from molecular scale to complex systems.About the roleThis role will join the Teaching & Learning Administration team to support undergraduate programmes, based in Bloomsbury. Our BEng and MEng Chemical Engineering programmes are highly prestigious programmes, recently re-accredited by the IChemE (Instituteof Chemical Engineers). We are looking to recruit to two full-time permanent vacancies.These two roles will primarily provide support for Year 1 and Year 3 undergraduate students. Responsibilities will include the full lifecycle of departmental administration. This role will include all matters relating to the teaching and learning activitiesof students from enquiry to completion, incorporating supporting committees and processes relating to assessment, student and course records. The role includes monitoring student attendance and engagement, dealing with queries from current and prospectivestudents, processing Extenuating Circumstances claims, planning and implementing the timetable, entering student marks as well as servicing examination boards and committees.This appointment is subject to UCL Terms and Conditions of Service for Research and Professional Services Staff.
