We seek to appoint a first-rate teacher of Mathematics, or a graduate trainee in Mathematics. This role could equally suit an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking their first teaching position as a qualified teacher, or a Mathematics graduate seeking totrain and gain a teaching qualification whilst working.A graduate trainee appointed to this position will benefit from a reduced teaching timetable and support to gain a PGCE.Teachers at Uppingham play a full part in the life of this seven-day week boardingschool and take on responsibilities in addition to classroom teaching. The co-curricular programme is exceptionally varied and includes a wide range of sports, CCF, community service and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
