You would be working to help clients tax functions deliver and manage tax through deploying innovative technology solutions as part of a wider agenda of strategy, risk & governance, sourcing advisory and operating model advice, joined together to bring well rounded business integrated solutions.Tax Technology is a fast growing part of the PwC tax practice with fantastic growth and a strong, growing, pipeline of opportunities. As a result we are looking to build our team, to meet the increasing demand from clients to help them deliver tax in a better way.As a Tax Technology Consultant you will be responsible for assisting clients in identifying opportunities or issues that could be resolved through the use of technology and then seeing through those ideas from inception to completion by managing Tax Technology projects. This may be in isolation, but will frequently be part of a wider roadmap of activities including strategy, risk and governance.This would include helping clients to identify opportunities, convert that into a roadmap of activities, identify appropriate technologies to solve the issue and delivering projects to implement that technology (using our implementation methodology) alongside other business integration activities, such as redesigning the tax function as a result of the implementation, implementing appropriate governance over the technologys use within the organisation and improving processes that the technology interacts with.Roles and Responsibilities: Supporting the business development for Tax Technology sales pipeline through engaging with PwCs client portfolio. Solving client problems through the use of a wide range of Tax Technology, including identifying the best solution for the client problems. Acting as a Tax Technology Subject Matter Expert in your industry area and on wider engagements. Management of Tax Technology Projects including standard risk and governance compliance. Oversee (Senior Manager) and/or deliver on (Manager) the end to end implementation project cycle for Tax Technology Solutions for our clients. Managing the input of the Tax Technology delivery capability specialists as part of your projects Liaising with external software vendors.Skills and Experience; Strong experience of implementing tax (preferred) and/or finance technology Excellent understanding of process requirements gathering and design, particularly with a technology overlay Project management experience and understanding of good project governance. Good technical understanding of Tax and/or Finance. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.Preferred: CTA, ACA or equivalent qualification Experience working with Financial Services businesses and/or Large Corporates Experience of implementing tax specific technology solutions Experience of data analytics, RPA, and/or data visualisation solutions.
