Company description:Tax Senior Manager – GCT, Tax Transformation required for a leading Tax Transformation team who implements award-winning technology to help clients automate their accounting, tax, finance and regulatory reporting processes. This is an exciting time to be part of the Tax Transformation team.Job description:We are looking for talented Tax Senior Managers with UK or global tax experience to join the team in London, particularly those with an indirect tax data and automation background.Skills and attributes for success·Lead the business development process to progress leads to sales and taking responsibility for contract negotiation and agreement;· Working closely with the tax practice to develop marketable propositions based around the use of our propositions, solutions and technology;· Line managing managers, assistant managers or graduate trainees and overseeing output of offshore resource in order to deliver client projects;· Assist clients with implementation of technology solutions, both internal tools but also third-party applications;· Work with the client directly to understand their requirements including potential visits to clients/ local offices when appropriate;· Identify and resolve technical issues, preparing technical analysis and involving specialists as appropriate to prepare or review analysis;· Identify opportunities to identify additional services that the client may need and liaise with subject specialists;· Coaching and technical support for other team members;To qualify for the role, you must have:;· Qualified by experience OR ATT / CTA / ACA or equivalent qualifications· Demonstrable interest in/background in technology to assist transformation including highly proficient Excel usage is essential· Strong written and verbal communications skills and experience managing stakeholders as part of project delivery;· Experience of review of tax process, including compliance processes;· Ability to identify and resolve technical issues, or escalate as appropriate;· Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets;· Project management or Agile development qualifications would be helpful but are not essential· Ability to build and execute strong internal and external relationships;· Ability to work autonomously, as a self-starter with the confidence to make their own decisions;· A corporate or indirect tax background is preferable;· Ability to work in teams to deliver projects to agreed deadlines and budgets, even under pressure.What you’ll getYou’ll receive a competitive remuneration package, flexible benefits where you can select the benefits that matters to you, excellent L&D and flexible working arrangements Required skills
