Job Description

Our client is a new-era social and digital media company who combine a leading Social Media marketing agency and content studio with a media network of over 650 channels and 158m followers. The company is headquartered in London.Due to growth and expansion our client is now on the look out for a Talent Manager. The role is a completely remote position so the ideal candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, preferably in the North and willing to travel to their London office oncea month.Our client wow audiences by blending hand-picked influencers with bold social strategies and big stories. They create iconic content that grabs audiences by the eyeballs. Theyre curious. They cultivate broadly and work closely with their social media platform partners (the likes of Meta, YouTube, TikTok and Snapchat), and use data to inform creativity for some of the boldest brands in the world.Theyre expert listeners, bringing data-driven insight, strategy, and conceptual development against a range of complex brand challenges. Because after all, social media never sleeps.Step into a universe like no other!The Role as Talent ManagerThe social and Influencer team are looking for an accomplished Influencer Manager to support our client and their growth ambitions in this space. They dont believe in transactional relationships with talent. They pride themselves on finding the right talentfor the task at hand and building a mutually beneficial partnership between them, the talent, and the client. People first, intuitive Talent Managers are at the heart of this approach.Youll be working with a team of Data Strategists, Social Strategists, Account handlers, and creatives to identify and relationship manage influencers from the negotiation of terms - through to the delivery of standout creative content.Desired skills & experience as Talent ManagerYoull need to know content and social inside and out but that doesnt necessarily mean you need a creative agency background. The ability to draw down on past experience and use it to strategise influencer led solutions to client/brand challenges is key,but theyre open to where that experience comes from. You could be a talent/influencer manager at an existing agency, you might be a celebrity talent manager, you could work in PR agency but whats important is that you understand the potential for influencermarketing and know how to identify and implement the right solution.What is most important is that youre humble enough to be proven wrong and talented enough to mostly be right.Key Responsibilities as Talent ManagerBeyond the day-to-day identification and management of talent, they believe the right person for this role will help define how they work with influencers by:

  • Helping to define their approach and unique proposition for influencer marketing
  • Establishing/refining their methodology around influencer selection and management
  • Instilling processes around content management with the ambition of delivering standout influencer creative
  • Looking for further ways to productise their offering
  • Being a strong representative of their influencer offering, engaging with the sector community (attend influencer networking events etc)
  • Building out a talent management team to deliver effectively against client briefs
