DESCRIPTIONAre you passionate about working with data, driven to dive deep, and eager to make broad business impact The Principal Engineer Recruiting Team is looking for a talented, customer-focused lead to conduct market research on senior specialized talent and industry trends. The Team hires Principal, Senior Principal, and Distinguished Engineers – the Companys most senior technical contributors.We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Market Intelligence Researcher who possess a strong passion for developing insights, driving analysis, and providing mission critical information that drives a dynamic and fast-growing talent acquisition team. To accomplish this, you will have the ability to think strategically, conduct talent acquisition focused research, act tactically on gathered research, write effectively and display strong critical thinking skills. You will also have excellent business acumen and communication skills in order to be able to work with business leaders and talent acquisition partners to develop and define key talent questions. You will work to set up the right data structure to collect information, then design and execute the research project to effectively answer these questions.The ideal candidate operates effectively in an ambiguous environment, is highly analytical, has strong passion for developing insights, is capable of setting up the right frameworks to conduct talent acquisition market analysis, provide insights on the database, and has experience providing mission critical information that yields results.Core Responsibilities: conference – call out examples· Lead special research projects/recruiting initiatives from ideation to execution including geographical deep dives, conference program talent analysis, and talent competitor intelligence gathering and designing the execution model to act on leads.· Conduct primary and secondary talent acquisition market research that contributes to the teams broader strategy and direction· Manage expectations by articulating in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process· Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner· Maintain scrutiny upon talent acquisition market trends and competitive opportunities· Run experiments to test hypotheses, measure results, and iterate based on learnings.· Build trusted relationships with Recruiters and Amazonians to accelerate hiring· Prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner and deliver results in a fast paced environment.· Perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload· Operate independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction; take action when answers to a problem are not readily apparent.
