Job Description

Third Square are delighted to be partnering with this leading Publishing company based in London.JOB PURPOSEThe Systems Data Analyst is responsible for the needs of the global data warehouse and business intelligence teams as we rollout and enhance enterprise data solutions in order to provide the business with effective tools that support the overall publishingstrategy and deliver a competitive advantage. To ensure clear communication of business needs and requirements between the product owner, product manager, and the Technology team in order to successfully support continuous process improvement and the frequentdelivery of new business capabilities and user adoptionKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Translation of business stories into technical deliverable requirements
  • Ability to create data contracts and perform required data mining to support solutiondelivery
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks concurrently and show flexibility in order to meetdelivery timeframes
  • Ability to identify process improvements and new techniques to improve team effectiveness
  • Ability to rapidly acquire and apply new business domain and technical knowledge
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Agile Scrum delivery methodology practices
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to facilitate effective discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
  • Experience working effectively in globally distributed delivery teams
  • Experience of applying analysis techniques in a successful technology team deliveringenhancements to data warehouses
  • Knowledge of relational databases, ETL tools, data conversion, data cleansing methods
  • Knowledge of SQL to mine, aggregate, and gather data preferred
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Cognos, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) Preferred
