Systems and Field EngineerCompetitive Salary + Benefits LondonThe RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and talented Systems and Field Engineer to join our rapidly growing Managed Service Provider team in London.This role offers the opportunity to be a key part of our dynamic business and shape systems and processes. Youll be working from home initially, with a desk in our office if you choose, but as the business grows, youll be expected to do more field work.The successful candidate will have experience in IT Support (remote and on-site) for Windows and MacOS users, Windows and Linux server management, network consultancy, data centre services, hosting, colocation, Microsoft cloud services, connectivity, wi-fiand telephony. Youll be a problem solver, a great communicator and be able to work well in a team.This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a challenging role in a vibrant business.Key Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of a Systems and Field Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Take ownership of client cases and see them through to completion or escalation.
  • Diagnose, research and resolve customer issues with hardware, software, and networks.
  • Assist customers in planning and executing their projects and field visits.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Design customer solutions including researching and selecting vendors and products.
  • Develop procedures, write documentation and generate reports.
  • Maintain high levels of punctuality, communication, attitude, competence and quality of service.
