Systematic reviewer x3Location: London or Liverpool basedFull Time, 12 month fixed term Salary: Grade 4: £28,332 - £30,795 per annum in London & £25,332 - £27,795 per annum in LiverpoolPlease note appointments for this role will be made at £30,795 per annum in London & £27,795 per annum in LiverpoolThis is an exciting opportunity to join the National Guideline Centre (NGC), a multi-disciplinary health services research team mainly funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) in the position of systematic reviewer.Key ResponsibilitiesSystematic Reviewer: Produce systematic reviews for one or more commissioned pieces of guidance as part of the technical team and guideline committee for these guidelines Critical appraisal of clinical literature and the production of evidence summaries, including meta-analysis, producing evidence tables/statements and presenting evidenceAbout you A keen interest in health related guidelines and have a desire to make a difference in improving healthcare delivery and the quality of patient care Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team Meticulous approach to your work and strong attention to detail Masters level qualification in a health related scientific discipline or equivalentAbout the NGCThe NGC produces evidence-based clinical practice guidelines on behalf of NICE specialising in guidance for acute and chronic conditions across a wide and varied range of clinical topics. The NGC also provides research support to a number of external commissioners including specialist clinical societies.
