Job Description

A growing underwriting business are looking for a Credit Controller to join the team and has the opportunity to work from home going forward.The main responsibilities of this Credit Controller will include:

  • To ensure cash received is entered daily into the PAS (policy admin system) and reflected on the Credit Control/Finance Cashbook
  • Timely issuance of Bordereaux and subsequent payment of client monies including effective resolution of queries/overdue items
  • To ensure timely receipt of policy amounts including effective resolution of queries/overdue items
  • To ensure timely payment of agreed Bordereaux amounts to binding brokers for onward payment to our capacity providers
  • To support the reconciliation of all client custodian bank accounts to statements and the general ledger
  • Support the reconciliation of all insurance receivable/payable balances per the PAS to the general led.
  • Account preparation and analysis for all ceded types
  • Routine follow up with underwriting teams and producing brokers to help minimise overdue amounts
The successful candidate for this Credit Controller will need experience working in a credit control function within London Market insurance industry, preferably at an MGA.
