Job Description

Sustainability Consultant | London | Permanent Ref: DB2040Competitive Salary Plus Benefits Our client is looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join a leading Sustainability and Energy consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in the UK and internationally. The roleis varied working on ESG and sustainability accreditation strategies, planning applications and live construction projects.To be considered for this Sustainability Consultant role you will have:

  • BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Engineering, Architecture, Construction or similar
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • BREEAM Assessor and/or BREEAM AP qualifications
  • Knowledge and application of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies
  • Experience of working on ESG strategies for real estate clients
  • Knowledge of Home Quality Mark and WELL/FitWel assessments
  • Understanding of Part L & Dynamic Simulation Modelling
  • Full UK driving license
Working as a Sustainability Consultant you will:
  • Build client relationships and liaise with multidisciplinary teams
  • Lead sustainability projects by developing concepts, reports and presenting to clients
  • Deliver innovative sustainable and low-carbon design solutions
  • Complete project assessments including Part L, BREEAM, HQM, PassiveHaus
  • Assess project designs for BREEAM compliance and recording evidence
  • Undertake energy surveys of buildings
  • Prepare sustainability assessments, planning reports, and presentations
