Job Description

The Supply Planning Manager will be ambitious and look to support the development and growth plans of the organisation. They will be in charge of Supply Planning activities globally.Client DetailsThey are a globally renowned luxury goods business that are looking to improve their Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain. They are an ambitious company that have performed well during the pandemic, and are now looking to develop their Supply Chain planning branch.DescriptionThe Supply Planning Manager will need to be a motivated individual who is prepared to work hard to enhance the current processes and ways of working. On a day to day basis, they will be responsible for product availability, optimal stock holding and coordinating the flow of products into the global warehouses at optimal costs.What they are looking for:

  • An experienced Supply Planning Manager who has led the Supply review meetings in S&OP
  • Capable of planning the production and timely availability of hundreds of products with thousands of components and ingredients and many formats manufactured across multiple different sites
  • Experience of supply, material and ingredient planning in Excel and ERP
  • Inventory management and stock reconciliation experience
  • Extensive experience of ingredient and packaging planning, MRP.
  • Exposure to working with 3PL partners in co-manufacturing and logistics
  • Led the supply arena for New Product Development
  • Previous experience working in an omni-channel environment
  • A real drive to improve, consolidate and save costs
  • If you have had experience in implementing a new ERP system this is highly advantageous
  • Ensuring that SKU master data & parameters are maintained in both MRP & our ERP system
  • Experience working in a start-up environment and a real passion for skincare or cosmetics
  • Experience of managing as this role has 2 direct reports
  • Highly organised and have analytical and process driven mindset
  • Experience of demand planning would be highly beneficial
    • ProfileThe Supply Planning Manager needs to have prior experience working at this level within the FMCG industry. Ideally they will be from a luxury goods background and in commutable distance to West London.Requirements
  • 1-2+ years experience in supply chain management with a excellent understanding of end to end supply chain, especially manufacturing, procurement & logistics
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
  • Commercial awareness partnered with problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude and a sense of urgency & priority
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills with proven ability to influence senior level stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a demanding environment to meet deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel at pivot table/vlookup level) and knowledge of supply planning in ERP (Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics preferred)
